Welcome to VisuallySpeaking Photography!
My name is Janaye. I’m a graphic designer and a self-taught photographer with a degree in graphic design. I was raised in a little place called Mount Dora in Lake County and have lived in Gainesville, FL and Austin, TX but now call Orlando my home!
I’ve always had a passion for photography. I remember asking for a “real” camera every christmas since I was 10 and finally managed to get my first DSLR (Nikon D40) at 17 for my college photography class. Since then I’ve been taking photos non-stop!
I believe photography should be more than just pretty pictures – it should tell a story. That story could be just you, your family, an event or a milestone. My job as your photographer is to capture those moments that tell the most important story of all: your story.

I worked, hands on, with tigers and other large cats for 2.5 years.

I’ve worked on trains since I was 16 and have been a Brakeman, Conductor, and student Engineer on 2 different railroads.

I’ve danced since I was 3 and attended a professional ballet school. I even joined a pre-professional company in college.
I still continue to take ballet classes today with Duvall Dance Academy! -
I’m learning ASL (American Sign Language) and hope to become fluent one day.
